-Stress Workshop on location-
Interactive workshop for teams and organisations
Do you see an increase in stress in your organization and are you looking for a way to make your employees more aware of stress and teach them what they can do to better cope with tension and pressure?
That is possible with this interactive workshop at your office, in which I explain what stress and its impact on people is. Participants will learn and experience a number of tools that can be used to reduce stress at work.
Do you recognize this?
-
In the employee satisfaction survey, the topic of 'perceived workload' scores relatively poorly.
-
Employees are complaining about experiencing too much stress. You frequently hear about people working in the evenings and on weekends, and remaining mentally preoccupied with work even at home. You are concerned about the impact this has on their wellbeing.
-
You notice that the rising tension within the organization is negatively affecting the overall atmosphere. People are more easily irritated and have shorter tempers.
-
The costs of stress-related absenteeism are high—partly because individuals are often unavailable for extended periods. This costs the organization a significant amount of money, and finding replacements is difficult, increasing the pressure on remaining employees.
-
You would like to proactively make your team/organization more resilient to the effects of stress.
What if -even more- people start falling out due to work related stress? Or if the atmosphere deteriorates and people's motivation decreases? Or if people leave for another organization? This will only make the situation more concerning and create a downward spiral.
What would it be like if
-
What if the people in your organization could handle the current workload in a more relaxed manner?
-
What if you had a team of satisfied employees who report having a good work-life balance and come to work motivated and well-rested every day?
-
What if there was a pleasant atmosphere where people feel comfortable and treat each other respectfully, even in stressful situations?
-
What if work stress-related absenteeism could be reduced?
-
What if there was a way for employees to better manage workload and stress themselves?
That’s possible!
With this interactive workshop, employees will learn what stress is and how it affects them, and they will be introduced to several practical tools they can use to reduce their stress.
This workshop lasts 3-4 hours and is for a maximum of 10 people. I will come to your office to conduct the workshop. It consists partly of theory, where the physiological and mental aspects of stress are explained, and partly of practical exercises that complement the theory and teach participants how to reduce their tension. There is ample time within the workshop to share experiences about stress.
What are the results of this workshop?
At the end of this workshop:
-
Employees will know:
-
Why and how your body and brain react to stressful situations and what the long-term impacts are, making them aware of the necessity to address stress.
-
The physical signs of (chronic) stress.
-
Which tools they can use to reduce stress when they experience it.
-
How to approach situations they usually find stressful in a more relaxed manner, leading to better performance.
-
How to train their brains and bodies to experience less stress in the long term when under pressure.
-
-
There will be a common language established to adress stress and to help make stress a more discussable topic moving forward.
-
Employees will have the knowledge and tools to work more effectively on their stress, enabling them to perform better, feel better, be more motivated, and reduce stress-related absenteeism in your organization!
