From Stress to Resilience

Enhance your leadership with our 3-month program designed for ambitious leaders with a busy mind and physical tension. Learn to measurably reduce stress and build resilience to excel with clarity and calm, even under high pressure.

You have a responsible job as a leader, and you’re proud of it. You’re ambitious and work hard because you want to do well, but it does take a lot out of you: You often have a restless mind, feel rushed, and have a short fuse, leading you to react more emotionally than you’d like. Your body often feels tense, and you find it difficult to relax.

You’re noticing that this is affecting your relationships and your performance as a leader.

Do you recognize this?

  • You look at the clock and realize you only have an hour and a half left to finish your work, drive home, do the groceries, and cook for your son who has sports practice. There’s no way you can make it! You feel the tension rising in your body and try, against better judgment, to quickly wrap up those last tasks, but your mind is too unsettled. A colleague comes in with a question, and you respond impatiently because you really don’t have time. You rush to your car too late and end up stuck in traffic. Your heart is pounding in your chest, and you tap impatiently on the steering wheel as you watch the minutes tick away. You feel like screaming out of frustration!

  • You’ve planned to watch a movie with your kids, but you quickly sit behind the computer to make some last-minute adjustments to your presentation for tomorrow. When your daughter asks where you are after half an hour, you tell her to go ahead and start without you because you’ll be there soon… But you end up staying longer than intended. When your husband comes in a few hours later to say the kids are in bed and he’s heading to bed too, you feel disappointed. You really wanted to watch the movie together, and you promised you would, but the presentation still needed work. You feel bad but don’t know how else you could have handled it.

  • On your way home, your thoughts turn to the feedback from your boss. He said a lot of positive things about your performance, but what sticks with you are the points for improvement. You can rationalize it in your head and know it’s constructive feedback meant to help you grow, but inside, it feels like you’ve failed. And that hurts. You start doubting whether you’re good enough, and that thought gives you a knot in your stomach. You know you’re not doing badly, but that’s not enough—you just want to be really good at what you do.

  • At night, you can’t sleep. Your mind keeps racing, and all sorts of thoughts run through your head. You try to stop them, but it only seems to make it worse. You feel tension in your stomach and your heart pounding in your chest. When you hear the distant church bells ringing, you realize you’ve been awake for over two hours. In the morning, you drag yourself out of bed with a heavy head and tired body. It’s going to be a tough day.

  • You’re in a team meeting where opinions are strongly divided. You notice yourself getting impatient because there are still more topics on the agenda that you want to cover. When a team member, who tends to be long-winded, wants to share his opinion, you abruptly cut him off, mentioning irritated that there isn’t enough time for this now. You see him turn red and notice an uncomfortable silence… Oops… you think, that wasn’t very respectful. How much time would it have taken to let him share his thoughts? You feel embarrassed about your impatient reaction.

In short, you feel yourself slowly getting caught in a negative spiral of stress, self-doubt, and working even harder, and you’re not sure how to break out of it.

What would it be like to

  • Combine work and private life in a relaxed way, without that rushed feeling and without stress and haste?

  • Be successful at work while still having enough time and attention for your family and loved ones?

  • No longer doubt whether you’re good enough but do your job with confidence and without tension?

  • Sleep well at night, so you wake up refreshed in the morning, even when under pressure?

  • No longer have a short fuse but respond empathetically and patiently to others, even when under stress?

You can achieve that!
With this one-on-one program, you’ll work on reducing your stress based on objective, visually presented measurements, while increasing your sense of calm and relaxation, ultimately boosting your resilience.

The entire program lasts 4 months and includes:

  • A Firstbeat Life measurement device (heart rate monitor) with software and a mobile app that allows you to objectively and continuously track and visualize your stress levels over these 16 weeks. You’ll gain insight into when you experience stress, how intense it is, what triggers it, which tools help you reduce it, ánd you can monitor your progress.

  • A brainwave measurement that provides insight into how stress affects your brain and which tools can help you achieve a calmer mind.

  • Three sessions where we address the underlying emotions that cause your stress.

  • Five sessions where we discuss your progress and cover different aspects of stress along with the tools to manage them.

  • Exercises to do at home (about 15-30 minutes a day).

What are the results of this program?

  • Instead of rushed you will feel calm, allowing you to leave work on time (and without guilt), drive home relaxed, cook, and be there for your family.

  • By feeling more at ease, making better decisions, and becoming more productive and effective, your performance will improve, allowing you to work less hard. This way, you can be successful at work while still spending quality time with your family and loved ones.

  • You’ll overcome doubts about your performance and feel calm, enabling you to perform your leadership role with confidence, relaxation, and balance. This will improve your overall effectiveness.

  • You’ll have more peace of mind, and your body will be able to relax again, allowing you to sleep well and recover from the day’s demands.

  • By feeling calmer, you’ll be better able to connect with others and empathize with them. Your patience will improve, making you respond more calmly and less emotionally, even under pressure.

This is what others say about the stress measurement

'This stress program is recommended for anyone struggling with stress. I feel that most people are not even aware of their own (im)balance and how small changes can make life so much more pleasant and peaceful.

The measurements helped me gain insights into tension at moments I wasn’t aware of. For example, exercising too intensely requires a lot of recovery time for my body, while slightly gentler exercise is much better for my balance. Additionally, negative moments (like thoughts) are quickly detected by FirstBeat, allowing me to address them more proactively. In my case, that means meditating or doing a short breathing exercise.

The insights are extremely helpful in learning how to manage tension during work and leisure. Thanks to the insights, I now recognize negative peak moments sooner and know how to handle them better.

The detailed reports you receive after each measurement provide a clear picture of your situation and where attention is needed. Initially, I was a bit skeptical about these focus areas (like increasing active movement), but by consciously addressing them and measuring the effects, I noticed it truly had a significant impact.'
